Welcome to Two River Allergy and Asthma Group!

We specialize in treating allergies, asthma, and related immunologic and respiratory diseases in children and adults. Our skilled physicians target the underlying cause of each patient’s health issue and deliver expert care in a friendly atmosphere. There’s no need to rush here – each member of our team spends time with our patients to answer questions and address concerns.

Our Physicians:

Frank J. Picone, MD

Ranked as a “Top Doctor” by Castle Connolly for 12 years, Dr. Picone has been treating patients in his private practice since 1974. He completed his fellowship in allergy and immunology at Harvard’s Children’s Hospital in Boston, his pediatric residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami School of Medicine, his postdoctoral training at Newark City Hospital, and his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Drexel University School of Medicine. Dr. Picone is a diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics.

Perdita Permaul, MD



A new and welcome addition to our reputable team, Dr. Permaul also completed a fellowship in allergy and immunology at Harvard’s Children’s Hospital in Boston. She completed her pediatric residency at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City, her medical degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Born in New York City, Dr. Permaul is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
